1. Missing: Glen Lowe

Glen Lowe, 44, is missing from the Wyoming area. Police say he has multiple sclerosis and hasn’t been seen since 1 a.m. on Sunday. They found his vehicle in the 4900 block of Clyde Park Avenue with his keys, identification, and MS medicine inside. Lowe is 5’7″, 190 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. 2. ISIS claims responsibility for killing American journalist

ISIS has released a video showing the beheading of U.S. journalist James Foley and threatening the life of another American if President Barack Obama does not end military operations in Iraq. The video was posted to YouTube on Tuesday and shows Foley kneeling next to a man dressed in black. In the video, he reads a message that’s believed to have been written by his captors, and then he is shown being beheaded. The video also shows a second American, who is believed to be journalist Steven Sotloff, a contributor to Time and Foreign Policy Magazines. 3. QuiltWeek begins in Grand Rapids

More than 15,000 people are expected to head to DeVos place for QuiltWeek 2014. It comes as the American Quilter’s Society celebrates its 30th anniversary. More than 450 quilts will be on display with more than $50,000 in prizes for quilting excellence. There will also be workshops as well as a merchant mart that will feature local and national vendors. This year’s event will also include the 2014 Young Textile Art Challenge, which is open to artists ages 18-30 and features more than $3,000 in prize money. 4. ArtPrize on tap tonight ahead of volunteer kick-off

With the world’s largest art competition around the corner, an ArtPrize on Tap event will go on tonight at Founders Brewing Company. The event will include a taste of the brewery’s ArtPrize 2014 beer, called Mosaic Promise. The brewery’s president will be at the event to talk about the evolution of Founders and the artistry behind the ArtPrize 2014 brew. Mosaic Promise will debut tomorrow, when the competition’s will host its volunteer kick-off celebration. The theme for this year is “Carnival of Curiosity.” The kick-off event is at the Ledyard Building in downtown Grand Rapids from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Read more: Voter registration launches for ArtPrize 2014

5. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul reunite for Emmy Awards promo

The former stars of “Breaking Bad”, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, got back together in front of the camera with actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus for an Emmy Awards promo. In the video, Cranston and Paul go into business together, running the “Barely Legal” pawn shop. Dreyfus tries to sell off her Seinfeld Emmy, until the situation gets a little passive-aggressive.
