MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Aretha Franklin concert at L.C. Walker Arena has been cancelled, the arena announced Tuesday.
Franklin was scheduled to perform at the venue 8 p.m. on Aug. 16.
According to MLive, Mac Man Presents, the show’s promoter, “was unable to meet obligations set by Franklin’s management company.”
People who bought tickets for the show will be issued full refunds this week at the Walker Arena Box Office. Refunds can be redeemed on week days between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
