MUSKEGON, Mich. — A Muskegon man is facing sexual assault charges after allegedly raping two 14-year-old girls in his car.
According to Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Tim Maat, Edward Charles Eubanks, 23, was arraigned Thursday on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim between the ages of 13 and 16.
The first-degree incident allegedly happened July 21 and the other on June 1.
Maat said that Eubanks knew both of the victims, and that he sexually assaulted them after offering them a ride in his car. He was charged as a fourth-time habitual offender and is being held on $350,000 bond.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 5.
