Former West Michigan teacher facing child sex charges

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. — A Three Rivers man has been formally arraigned on child sex charges.

David Duane Wing, 59, is a former teacher who the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office says taught in Constantine and Three Rivers.

The Three Rivers Commercial-News reportsthat he  was also an administrator at Marcellus Elementary School.

He was arrested Saturday and has now been charged with child sexually abusive activity and three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.  One of those counts involves a person under 13 years old, prosecutors said.

Wing’s next court date was not specified.
