GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Strong winds will create some danger along the Lake Michigan shoreline later tonight and on Tuesday. All of the lakeshore is under a beach hazards statement starting at Midnight and lasting through Tuesday evening.
Some of the hazards include:
- High waves (up to seven feet)
- Rip currents
- strong structural and longshore currents
- Waterspouts
In other words, don’t go swimming. If you decide to go to the beach to watch the waves or for waterspouts, feel free to post some pictures to the FOX 17 Facebook page.
