GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (July 10, 2014) — The man found dead in the Grand River Wednesday has been identified as 54-year-old Mark Emerson Lamb.
According to Grand Haven officials, Lamb drowned and there is no indication of foul play.
Police say Lamb was homeless, and they traced his last known location to a campsite near Mercury Drive. They said it is likely Lamb entered the water near that location.
The discovery of Lamb’s body was reported to police just before 9 a.m. July 9 at the Grand Haven Harbor near Dewey Hill.
