NEW JERSEY (July 8, 2014) — “I got it!” shouted Kayden Kinckle, a 2-year-old boy in New Jersey, as he took his first steps using prosthetics and a walker.

His mother Nikki uploaded a nearly two-minutevideo of Kayden walking to YouTube July 4.

She also included the story of her son’s medical problems, saying the umbilical cord was wrapped around his feet and pinned under her pelvic bone.  He had his right foot and left leg amputated.

She also wrote that Kayden was born with omphalocele, a type of abdominal wall defect where the intestines, liver, bladder and other organs develop outside of the body.

Check out a Facebook page for Kayden to get new updates.  You can also donate to the family’s GoFundMe page to help pay for his other medical expenses.
