Spartan Stadium Area Re-Opened After Bomb Threat, 2 In Custody

EAST LANSING, Mich. (July 2, 2014) — The Michigan State University Police have taken two persons of interest in custody following a bomb threat Wednesday at Spartan Stadium.

MSUtweeted about the threat just after 3:45 p.m.  The tweet said they evacuated the stadium and the surrounding area.

The threat has since been declared a false alarm and the area has been re-opened.

The Michigan State Police bomb squad assisted with this incident.
