WEST MICHIGAN — (June 29, 2014) Showers are moving through West Michigan this morning bringing spotty periods of heavy rain. The storms started to fall apart over Lake Michigan but were able to drop periods of heavy rain around West Michigan.
Rain will come to an end shortly before noon and then skies will continue to clear into the afternoon. Sunshine will allow temperatures to warm into the low to mid 80’s today and with a lot of humidity in place feel-like temperatures will be in the upper 80’s and low 90’s.
We should stay dry for the rest of the day today but with abundant heat and humidity, there is still a slight chance for a scattered afternoon shower or thunderstorm to develop. Widespread rain chances move in late Monday, and a few of the storms could be on the strong to severe side.
