Man Arrested For Alleged Credit Card Cloning

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (June 23, 2014) — An Illinois man was arrested in Grand Haven over the weekend after allegedly cloning credit cards and using them to buy other prepaid cards.

Raymond Stewart, 59, is expected to be arraigned Tuesday in Ottawa County court.  He is facing several charges, including fraud.

The alleged fraud happened Saturday afternoon at the Wesco gas station, 14750 Mercury Dr. in Grand Haven Township.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the Secret Service is assisting in the investigation because similar incidents have been reported in other Michigan communities.
