Grand Rapids City Pools Open For Summer Season

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — The Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department opened its pools today in three locations.

The pools at Briggs Park (Lafayette and Knapp NE), Martin Luther King Jr. (Fuller and Franklin SE) and Richmond Park (Richmond and Tamarack, NW) all are open.

Children yougner than 1 year old are free.  Children ages 1 to 17 years old are $1 for residents and $4 for nonresident.  Adults 18 and older are $2 for residents and $4 for nonresidents.

The pools will close on July 4th for the Independence Day holiday.

The pools will close for the season on Sept. 1.
