Brief Cooldown Starts Tonight

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 12, 2014) — After some muggy days with showers and thunderstorms, some cooler and less humid air is filtering into West Michigan and will remain for a couple of days.

The image above from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows temperatures Friday afternoon only in the 60s, with even some 50s near Lake Michigan. Normal highs for June 13 are near 80 degrees.

The cool day Friday will give way to a cool night. Overnight lows will be falling into the 40s most locations. Here’s a look at some readings on Saturday morning:
