Liquor Store Robbed On Grand Rapids’ Southeast Side

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 10, 2014) — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a southeast-side liquor store that happened Tuesday night.

At 10:35 p.m. on June 10, the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Miti Mini liquor store at 1210 Giddings Ave. SE. The investigation showed that a male displayed a small black handgun during the robbery and then fled the scene with cash and cigarettes.

Police described the suspect as a thin black male wearing all dark clothing and a bandanna over his face.

Nobody is in custody for the robbery, which remains under investigation by Grand Rapids police.
