SPARTA, Mich. (June 9, 2014) — A man was arrested Monday night after an armed robbery at the AGO gas station, 560 E. Division.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Department says the robbery was reported at about 8:51 p.m.
Officials say the suspect used a knife to hold up the gas station, and an employee later hit the gas station’s alarm and called 911. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect was arrested in a vehicle matching a description given to deputies.
