Weekend Festival Forecast

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 5, 2014) — Anyone planning to take part in one of the many festivals around West Michigan this weekend will be advised to party early to avoid any chance of wet weather.

Sunshine, dry air, and comfortable nights will hold into the start of the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 70s on Friday and Saturday.  Some clouds will likely start to increase around the area late Saturday, with some showers or maybe a thunderstorm possible Saturday night and Sunday morning.

However, even Sunday shouldn’t be a total washout, with highs still in the mid-70s.  Temperatures will run a few degrees cooler near the lakeshore each day.

Some of the festivals you can enjoy this weekend:

  • National Asparagus Festival in Hart (see forecast above)
  • Festival of the Arts in Grand Rapids
  • Carson City Frontier Days
  • Greek Fest in Kalamazoo
  • Gizzard Fest in Potterville

You can check out the full 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
