No One Hurt After Car Fire Spreads To Home

fire_generic2KALAMAZOO, Mich. (May 30, 2014) — Officials are investigating the cause of a Friday evening fire.

Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the 3900 block of Madison St. for a car fire. When they got there, officers found that it had spread to a single-story house.

After about 45 minutes, firefighters were able to get the blaze under control.

The car is a complete loss and a corner of the house and inside the attic sustained heavy damage.

No one was hurt.
