Man Accidentally Shoots Friend in Arm During Coyote Hunt

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (May 19, 2014) — A weekend hunting excursion ended with a man accidentally shooting his friend in the arm.

It happened on 15 Mile Road in Convis Township.  The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says a 59-year-old man from Lambertville was out hunting coyotes with a 65-year-old friend from Ohio.  He accidentally shot his friend in the arm with a .22 caliber rifle.

The victim is going to be fine.  No arrests were needed at the scene.
