LOS ANGELES (May 12, 2014) — A Los Angeles judge Monday reportedly ordered an immediate investigation into the location of radio icon Casey Kasem.

According to the New York Daily News, a lawyer for Kasem’s wife said the former “Top 40” host had been removed from the country without warning.

Kasem, 82, suffers from advanced Parkinson’s disease, can no longer speak and is reportedly fed through a tube.

We’re going to find him, take care of him and love him,” daughter Kerri Kasem told the Daily News. “He’s going to be with family, not stuck in some unfamiliar place where he’s dying alone.”

She is one of three children from a previous marriage battling Kasem’s wife Jean Kasem in court over access to their father.

Kerri Kasem tells the Daily News she suspects her father may be in Canada because a family source overheard plans to move him to a Native American reservation in Washington.

“I’m just praying to God she hasn’t hurt him. He’s very ill and fragile right now. He would need an airplane with special medical services,” she said to the Daily News.
