KALAMAZOO, Mich (May 2, 2014) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is working to making drivers aware of several road closures on Sunday morning for the upcoming Kalamazoo Marathon. 8,000 runners are expected to take part.
- Gull Road will be completely closed from 8:00AM until approximately 9:30AM, between Nazareth and Riverview.
- Riverview Drive from Gull Road to E Michigan.
- Michigan Ave from N Rose to Riverview.
- Parkview from Oakland Drive to Drake Rd.
- Other streets throughout Kalamazoo will be temporarily shut down to allow runners to pass through intersections.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes on Sunday, and have patience for runners taking part in the race.
