SPARTA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday night near Sparta.
At 7:56 p.m. Friday, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries on 13 Mile Road NW in Sparta Township. Upon arriving at the scene, three people were found to be suffering from life-threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance to the hospital.
The roadway was closed to traffic to the west at Alpine Avenue and to the east at North Division at 8:14 p.m. Friday.
