Police: Live Anti-Tank Round Removed from Battle Creek Home

Screen shot 2014-04-22 at 5.33.57 PMBATTLE CREEK, Mich. (April 22, 2014) — The Military Bomb Squad from Fort Knox, Ky. was called to a Battle Creek home Tuesday to help remove a live anti-tank round.

According to Battle Creek Police, the Vietnam-era anti-tank round was reported Tuesday by a resident in the area of East Avenue and Roosevelt.

The Battle Creek Bomb Squad assisted the military in removing and destroying the live round, a release said.

No other details have been released at this time.
