Body Found Along Ludington Lakeshore

LUDINGTON, Mich. (April 15, 2014) — A body was discovered Tuesday night along the shore of Lake Michigan in Ludington.

According to The Daily News, three bicyclists discovered the body on the beach at around 7 p.m north of Big Sable Point Lighthouse and south of W. Nurnberg Road.  Police said that the body appears to be that of a man who was about 6 feet tall.  The body may have been there for months, if not the entire winter, said officials.

Several agencies are currently investigating.  Authorities in neighboring counties as well as Wisconsin are being asked if they have anyone missing that could possibly match this person’s description.
