GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (April 4, 2014) — A band of rain will move through West Michigan during the daytime Friday, followed by windy and cooler conditions that will persist into the start of the weekend.

Scattered showers may contain some thunder as they swing through the region, with the main band starting to exit after midday.  We’ll have some dry time in the afternoon, but scattered rain showers may wrap around the back side of the low-pressure system late in the day.  Those may change to some snow showers as temperatures fall back into the 30s Friday evening, with winds making it feel more like the 20s.

Winds will calm down a bit into Saturday, but it will still be somewhat cool and breezy even as sunshine returns.  Sunday will be a bit more pleasant with highs back around 50°.
