Spring-Like End To The Weekend

Posted

Hour-By-Hour Temperatures Sunday

WEST MICHIGAN — (Mar. 30, 2014) It’s finally starting to feel like spring around West Michigan as temperatures begin to warm on the last day of the weekend. Clear skies and calm winds Sunday morning allowed temperatures to fall into the low 20’s and even teens to the north making for a chilly morning. Sunshine and light winds will help warm temperatures quickly throughout the early afternoon as temperatures climb towards 50 in many areas.

Winds will stay fairly calm for Sunday and become more southerly through late afternoon and early evening. The light southerly winds will help funnel in some warmer air and help keep temperatures mild Sunday overnight. Some areas of light fog or low-level clouds could from early Monday morning but sunshine will return and help catapult temperatures into the upper 50’s and low 60’s by Monday afternoon.

A cold front will move into the region overnight Monday bringing a slight chance for light rain showers. Rain should be fairly scattered and light in nature and will likely end by sunrise. Temperatures will peak early in the morning Tuesday before falling into the 40’s by afternoon. Another system moves in for Wednesday as our overall pattern becomes more active. A more active pattern will bring rain and snow mix chances almost everyday through the end of the week.
