Students Taken To Hospital After School Bus Tips Over

FAIRPLAINS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (March 28, 2014) — Students in Greenville sustained minor injuries after the school bus they were in tipped over.

According Michigan State Police, the bus tipped over around 6:45 a.m., after the driver lost control at Grow and South County Line roads.

According to the Greenville Daily News, Greenville Public Schools Superintendent Pete Haines said that the bus hit a patch of ice as it was going down a hill, swayed, and tipped over onto its side.

Police say students were treated at the scene, and five were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
