GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 28, 2014) — It may seem difficult to envision as rain and temperatures fall Friday morning, but by the end of the weekend, West Michigan will experience sunshine with high temperatures pushing into the 50s.
The last band of rain showers will mix with a little snow before ending around midday Friday. Temperatures will hold in the 30s to around 40 with a cool breeze from the northwest Friday afternoon.
Saturday is likely to remain dry, but a wave of energy to the south may bring a few light snow showers to parts of southeastern Lower Michigan during the day. That system will be close enough to spread high- and mid-level clouds across West Michigan for most of the day.
More sun is expected on Sunday, with a surge of warm air commencing during the day that will allow temperatures to climb into the 50s. Warm air will hold into Monday before temperatures slip back below average for most of the week.
