Nurse Stabbed in Shoulder at Spectrum Employee Parking Ramp

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 26, 2014) — A nurse is recovering from injuries she received after being stabbed in a Spectrum Health employee parking ramp.

Police say the incident happened shortly before 8:00 a.m. at the ramp located at Michigan Street and LaFayette Avenue NE.

A nurse was leaving work and heading to her car when she was assaulted and stabbed in the shoulder.

The victim is expected to be okay.

Sources say the victim knew her attacker.

There are no suspects in custody, but police continue to investigate.
