BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (March 22, 2014)- A 22-year-old woman is recovering at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning.
According to the Battle Creek Police Department, the 22-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle that was travelling westbound on Capital Ave. N.E. near Byron Street just outside of downtown Battle Creek.
A witness told the Battle Creek Police that they saw the woman walking in the roadway near the center line prior to being struck.
The woman was transported to Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, where she was treated and released.
It is unknown at this time if there will be any charges brought against the driver of the vehicle.
