MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. (March 22, 2014) — Sheriff’s deputies have identified the man who died after a snowmobile crash on Friday.
They say the victim was 39-year-old Jeremy Krikke.
The crash happened just after 9 p.m. near the intersection of 13 Mile Road and 120th Avenue in Martiny Township where deputies say the man hit a tree and fell off of the snowmobile. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, alcohol and poor weather conditions were factors in the crash.
