EAST LANSING, Mich. (March 21, 2014) — It’s been a long time coming, to say the least.
For the first time since 1942, the Muskegon boys basketball team will play for a state title. The 27-0 Big Reds got a 63-47 win over Mount Pleasant in the Class A semifinals Friday.
They’ll play Bloomfield Hills at noon on Saturday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. A win will give Muskegon their first championship since 1937.
