Recall Roundup: Circuit Breakers, Off-road Vehicles, and Light-Up Decorations

BETHESDA, Md. (March 19, 2014) — In this week’s recall roundup, consumers are being made aware of a handful of products that are being recalled due to a variety of safety hazards.

Among the items being recalled, are certain varieties of circuit breakers, Arctic Cat off-road utility vehicles, and specific kinds of garden decorations.

Schneider Electric U.S.A. – Square D branded, molded case F and K frame circuit breakers.  The circuit breaker can fail to trip when an overload occurs, posing the risk of fire, burn and electric shock.  About 28,400 units are impacted.  Click here for more information on this recall.

Arctic Cat Prowler 500 HDX – Fuel can leak from the fuel fitting at the throttle body of the vehicle, posing a fire hazard.  About 2,300 units are impacted.  Repairs are available.  Click here for more information on this recall.

TJX Gardeners Eden™ light-up autumn decorations – Exposed wiring near the battery box can lead to a short circuit, posing a fire hazard.  This recall involves autumn 2013 Gardeners Eden decorative wreaths and Chinese Lantern plant arrangements.  About 4,600 units are involved.  Click here for more information on this recall.
