BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (March 19, 2014) — Leslie Wilkins, 83, was killed Wednesday during a single-vehicle crash in Battle Creek.
Police arrived in the area of Roosevelt near East Avenue at about 11:15 a.m. and discovered that Wilkins’ car had crashed into a concrete barrier.
According to a release, witnesses say that he appeared to slumped over behind the wheel as he traveled down Roosevelt prior to crashing. However, the incident remains under investigation.
