GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 18, 2014) — Actor Jason Segel made a stop at Krispy Kreme, 2700 East Beltline, while on break from filming a movie in the area this weekend.
Segel stopped at the doughnut shop at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, according to employee Mary Verberg, who is on the left in the photo.
Segel is currently filming a movie in West Michigan alongside Jesse Eisenberg titled The End of the Tour, a biographical film about author David Foster Wallace.
The selfie has been picked up by BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post and other national outlets since it was initially posted.
The production crew for The End of Tour is also currently looking for (unpaid) extras to film Wednesday in Grand Haven and Thursday and Friday in Grand Rapids.
