GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Brook Wilson-Johnson was sentenced to one week in jail Monday after paying two fourth-graders to beat up a classmatewhile working as a contracted cafeteria worker at Grand Rapids Public Schools.

The 19-year-old former lunch aide at Campus Elementary School previously pleaded guilty to giving the children a dollar to beat up a 9-year-old that cussed at her.

She was arrested in December 2013.

The boy did not suffer any major injuries but was reportedly a little roughed up, according to investigators.

Wilson-Johnson was given credit for one day served and will serve six additional days behind bars, according to the City Attorney’s Office.

She was also ordered to pay $1,100 in fines and fees and given one year of probation.

According to officials at the City Attorney’s Office, her attorney told the judge that she was pregnant at the time of the incident and may have acted out of character.
