MARSHALL TWP., Mich. (March 14, 2014) — A man from Harper Woods has been arrested, after deputies in Calhoun County found that he had four pounds of ecstasy.
On March 13, around 1 p.m., deputies made a traffic stop on I-94 near Old 27 and became suspicious after speaking with the driver. A K-9 unit responded to the scene and detected drugs in the car.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found four pounds, which they say is about 5,000 pills, of ecstasy. The 36-year-old driver was taken to the Calhoun County Jail for possession with intent to deliver ecstasy. His name has been withheld pending arraignment.
