JACKSON, Mich. (March 14, 2014) — Convicted murderer Michael Elliot is now back in Michigan after his Feb. 2 escape from the Ionia Correctional Facility.
Elliot, 40, was apprehended in LaPorte County, Ind. the next day.
Michigan Department of Corrections officials confirm that Elliot arrived Thursday at the Charles Egeler Reception & Guidance Center in Jackson.
Elliot was serving a life sentence for four murders he committed in the ’90s when he escaped.
