GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 11, 2014) — Hundreds of job seekers are expected to turn out for Grand Rapids Community College’s Spring Job Fair on Tuesday morning.

Chris Allen, GRCC’s coordinator of student employment, says the job fair’s popularity just keeps on growing.

“With employers from a broad range of industries representing more than 600 local jobs, this is going to be our largest employment fair to date,” he said in a recent press release.

The event is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the first floor of the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center at 151 Fountain St. NE.   It has already drawn 59 companies that are ready to look at resumes and meet with applicants.  Employers at the event include Autocam, DeWys Manufacturing, Hope Network, Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital and the Social Security Administration.

If you are interested in attending, you are encouraged to come dressed professionally, and be prepared to talk with potential employers.
