GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (March 10, 2014) — Former Ottawa County corrections officer Jonathan Kermeen was sentenced Monday for having sexual contact with female inmates.
Kermeen, a nine-year employee of the department, faces between five and 15 years in prison for second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
“This contact had occurred over the course of several different months, starting in August of 2013 and the last, according to Mr. Kermeen, occurred in the first weekend of October 2013,” Lieutenant Mark Bennett told an Ottawa County judge in November.
