GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 10, 2014) — There will soon be a new addition to the Medical Mile in Grand Rapids, but it will not be in the form of new health care — it will be a brand-new hotel.
Real estate development firm Third Coast Development, along with Lodgco Management, announced on Monday that they are adding a Hampton Inn & Suites to the Mid Towne Village development along Michigan Street.
The hotel will sit on Dudley Street, just north of Michigan Street. Construction of the 142-room, five-story hotel is expected to begin in April. It will actually be nearly seven stories tall, but the first two floors will consist of above-terrain parking levels.
