NEWBERG TOWNSHIP, Mich. (March 9, 2014) – A man was taken to the hospital after a snowmobile crash early Sunday morning in Newberg Township.
Sheriff Joseph Underwood said the crash happened near M-40 and Hoffman Street on private property at 12:04 A.M. Sunday. According to the Sheriff, Daniel Castellanos overturned when he was driving the snowmobile on the side of a hill. Newberg Ambulance transported Castellanos to Three Rivers ER Hospital with minor injuries.
Officials said Castellanos was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash. The Newberg Fire Department was also on scene.
