COMSTOCK TWP, Mich. (March 8, 2014)- The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department says they were called to the area of Abbey St. near River St. where a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
The investigation determined Lloyd Dehollander, 52, had fallen onto the travel portion of Abbey St., east of River St. into the path of a car.
Dehollander was hit by the car and transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Dehollander appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during this incident.
