Friday’s 40s Warmest In Over Two Months; Cooler Weekend Ahead

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 7, 2014) — Sunny skies and mild temperatures greeted winter-weary residents of West Michigan on Friday. The map above shows the high temperatures. Most locations were in the 40s.  The high of 46 degrees in Grand Rapids was the warmest temperature in over two months. The last time it was this mild was on December 28, when the high was also 46.

Temperatures will be a little cooler this weekend, with high temperatures in the 30s both days. Highs will move back into the 40s early next week, however.

With the cooler air, there could be a little snow. This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows that possibility early Saturday. Little if any accumulation is expected.
