BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (March 2nd, 2014)- There will be a new look to C.O. Brown Stadium in Battle Creek for the 2014 baseball season.

According to the Battle Creek Bombers, C.O. Brown Stadium is set to for renovations for the 2014 baseball season which include, a new outfield scoreboard, new outfield fences, new lighting poles and lights over the infield, and repaving of the parking lots along the first and third baselines.

The outfield scoreboard had to be replaced after it was struck by lightning during the 2013 season. The outfield fences will be replaced and the center field fence is scheduled to be moved in and lowered. The Bombers hope that this will provide a more hitter friendly ballpark.

Bombers also hope that with repaving the parking lots, it will improve the flow of traffic before and after games and other events.

Also the restrooms will be re-painted as well as the visitor’s locker room.

The Bombers says that all of the renovations will be completed by the home opener, which is scheduled for May 29th at 7:05 p.m. against the Kalamazoo Growlers.
