GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Feb 27, 2014) — There were several school closings and delays Thursday morning, and it appears likely that will happen again on Friday morning. Temperatures will be dropping well below zero overnight.
This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows morning temperatures and wind chill values. Most areas will have wind chills between 10 below and 20 below zero. Actual air temperatures will be well below zero as well.
By Friday afternoon, temperatures will be in the teens with wind chill values rising to above zero. All of West Michigan is under a wind chill advisory until 11:00 Friday morning.
