VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. (Feb. 25, 2014) — A 28-year-old Kalamazoo man was charged Tuesday with his fifth drunk driving offense in two years.
Charles Wiles was arrested in Gobles Feb. 21 with a 4-year-old in his vehicle.
He was charged with operating while intoxicated, third or subsequent offense, and violation of a restricted license, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, Wiles was two times over the legal limit when he was pulled over in the area of State and Depot streets at approximately 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21.
The child in his vehicle was not injured.
