WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — So far this season, Grand Rapids has received 82 inches of snow, while Muskegon is just short of 100 inches. Although we won’t be adding to those totals tonight or Tuesday, there is a little more snow on the way Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The above image is from our in-house computer model, Future Track, and shows some of the snowfall amounts. The heaviest totals are near the Indiana-Michigan line, where winter storm watches remain in effect. Here is a map showing that watch:
Travel could be slowed somewhat Wednesday morning, especially into southern Lower Michigan and adjacent areas of Indiana and Ohio. Further, Chicago is expected to receive several inches of snow, so slowed traffic and flight delays are possible there Wednesday morning.
