KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Thousands of people heading to Super Bowl XLVIII will see welcome banners from a local West Michigan company.
Consort Display Group of Kalamazoo created 300 banners for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey welcoming fans to the area for the Super Bowl.
According to Denise DeVries, marketing director for Consort Display Group these banners are hanging in every major transportation hub in the area, including the major airports and rail stations.
This is not the first time the Consort Display Group has done this. They have also made banners for Super Bowl XXXVIII in San Diego outside of Qualcomm Stadium and their hardware was also used for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Consort Display Group has been in business in the Kalamazoo area now since 1983.
Super Bowl XLVIII can be seen only on FOX 17, with pre-game coverage starting at noon.
