LANSING, Mich. — Governor Rick Snyder officially announced his re-election effort Thursday with a six-city tour schedule.
Snyder will visit three cities on both Monday and Tuesday.
His West Michigan stop happens Monday in Grand Rapids at the Downtown Market, 435 Ionia Ave SW, from 3:45 until 5 p.m.
The tour kicks off in Detroit with other stops in Lansing, Traverse City, Frankenmuth and Farmington Hills.
The main theme of the tour, according to a release, is to stop at local family businesses that the governor claims have flourished under his administration. He’s also stopping at Oakland Community College.
