ATLANTA — The Detroit Pistons will have to wait 69 days for their first game in Atlanta in 2014.
The Pistons and Hawks will make up their snowed-out game from January 29 on Tuesday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m., the NBA announced Thursday.
The Atlanta area got about three inches of snow to start the week. Any winter precipitation is a rarity in the city.
Atlanta is current fourth in the Eastern Conference standings; Detroit is in ninth, one game out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the East.
