GALESBURG, Mich. — Eleven kayakers got stuck on the Kalamazoo River near Fort Custer Drive in Galesburg Sunday.
The Galesburg Fire Department said they responded to the scene at about 2 p.m. The kayaks were stuck in ice, but everyone was safely pulled from the river and there were no injuries.
Comstock Township rescue crews were also called to assist at the scene.
